Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) might be wearing an iconic suit in the highly anticipated blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

'Batman vs Superman' Star Previews What Her Character 'Represents' In New Film

There are new rumors from JoBlo.com that state Lex could be donning a green and purple warsuit in the film, as seen in many of the Superman comics and TV show adaptations. The rumor comes from a "trusted and reliable" source to JoBlo.

Apparently the warsuit "will be very much like the many variations we've seen in the past and will obviously fit the style and look of the film (and DCCU films in general)."

Henry Cavill Reveals How 'Batman vs Superman' Fits In With 'Man Of Steel'

This has not been confirmed by DC as they are keeping almost everything about Batman v Superman under wraps.

Director Zack Snyder has said of Lex Luthor that he will be quite different from the Lexes that have been depicted in the past.

"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure," Snyder said previously. "Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."

The casting of Eisenberg, who has more of a young, nerdy sensibility to him is enough proof already that this Lex is going to be a slight departure from how the villain is usually portrayed.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
