Team Pharrell Williams' shining star has rocketed to the top of the charts over the last few weeks, signaling him as a near lock for the title. Voters agreed, casting their iTunes, phone, and app ballots for the New York native as the Tuesday night result show kicked off.

The 16-year-old singer concluded the competition with a solo rendition of Neil Young's Old Man (see video below), a duet of Seals and Crofts Summer Breeze, and a performance of an original piece titled Please.

Team Blake Shelton's Meghan Linsey came in second place while Team Adam Levine's Joshua Davis snagged third and Team Pharrell's Koryn Hawthorne placed fourth. Over all, extremely predictable results based on the contestants' iTunes bonuses, past voting results, and history of landing in the Bottom Two.

In addition to performances by several of the seasons Top 20, the finale played host to such talents as Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crowe, John Fogerty, Luke Bryan, and Ed Sheeran.
