There's a good reason why Sofia Vergara doesn't want to raise children with her ex-fiancé (other than the obvious fact that they are no longer together). The Hollywood actress recently admitted that she wants to have children with her future husband Joe Manganiello and she wants to do it now before it's too late.

Sofia Vergara News 2015: Ex-Fiance Nick Loeb Claims The Actress Abused Him

According to OK! Magazine on Wednesday, Vergara admitted that the couple definitely has babies on the mind and that she wants to get pregnant before her biological clock runs out on her.

She said, "Joe is younger than me. He's 38. He's never had kids. How am I going to say no? I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby."

Sofia Vergara News 2015: Ex-Fiance Nick Loeb Slammed As Being 'Creepy' For His Embryo Plea

This statement is of course going to irk her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb, who is suing the actress for custody over their frozen embryos. Loeb wants to bring the embryos to term and raise them as his own while Vergara wants to keep them frozen indefinitely.

Speaking to Howard Stern, Vergara, who broke up with the businessman early last year, hinted that Loeb might have some sort of agenda against her and that she also wants to resolve this as peacefully as possible.

She said, "It makes no sense. A child needs a loving relationship of parents that get along, that don't hate each other...I don't hate him but he obviously has a problem with me! A kid needs parents. I wouldn't imagine anyone saying that it's sane to bring to the world kids that are already set up, everything wrong for them. It would be so selfish."

When asked about Loeb's legal standing against her, Vergara shrugged it off, saying that he should have considered all the ramifications while they were still together.

She added, "There is law. You signed papers, legal papers, and if it was so serious for him, this issue - which I totally respect it is serious for someone - then you should have taken it more serious at the time like I did...there is a contract."
