She was exacting revenge on him for killing the man she loved, and now Anna (Finola Hughes) will get a surprising ally in her attempts to cover up Carlos' (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) murder on General Hospital.

Someone Else Is Shot

Though Sloane (Grayson McCouch) has been obviously out to get her since his arrival in Port Charles, he will be very understanding of her need to get justice for Duke's murder--and helps her cover up shooting Carlos in the heart at point blank range by disposing of his body--in an effort to prevent Anna from facing charges for what she did.

"Nobody's gonna know what we did," he says to her in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 20 episode.

Duke's Death Brings Unanswered Questions

After they get rid of the evidence, Anna may finally decide it's time for her to leave the city as well, at least for a while, as she copes with Duke's death--and she could leave quickly and without saying goodbye to the ones she loves and is leaving behind in her haste to get out of town.

Meanwhile, despite the way he reacted when she threatened to call the cops on him for killing Duke, Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) is still torn up over not having heard from Carlos since he left her apartment the morning after the murder. And even though she has since found a potential stable partner in Michael (Chad Duell), she is still letting Carlos have some influence over her life--possibly hurting that budding relationship before it can even start.

"I'm waiting to hear about Carlos," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
