Division 15 is set to get their share of hard lessons to learn in the new season of ABC’s Rookie Blue as their lives are hit with lots of complications that they would have never seen coming.

By now avid viewers know that Sam is dating Andy but expecting his first child with his ex, Marlo. While teasers have revealed how Andy copes with the news, a new one shows that Marlo is apprehensive herself.

“How is this supposed to work?” she asks Sam.

The show’s creator and executive producer Tassie Cameron said that the officers will get a tough dose of reality after having an “idea” of what they hoped their lives would look like.

“Your idea of a perfect job, your idea of a perfect relationship; is that realistic? Is that as interesting as reality? You don’t really know what you’re made of until you’re put to the test.”

Oliver echoes her statement in the show and reminds Dov that the future is still very certain.

“Nobody knows where any of us will wind up in the end.”

But it’s not all downhill for them.

Cameron adds that while their situations might not be what they wished for, they can still have “a happy ending.”

Charlotte Sullivan, who plays Gail Peck, added that they do get “what they need”; which is much more important than their desires.

A handful of characters are also slated to return this season.
