Vanderpump Rules season 4 is currently in production, and on Twitter, Kristen Doute recently confirmed her return.

Although Doute's return was already expected, considering her recent appearance with the rest of the cast at the NBC Upfront last week, the reality star made things official this week.

A short time later, a Vanderpump Rules fan questioned Doute about who her sidekick would be now that Stassi Schroeder had left the show.

Schroeder's exit has been a hot topic for the last couple weeks. While many reports claim the reality star and fashion blogger was fired from the show, she claimed in a podcast on Thursday that was not the case. Instead, she alleged, she left the show months ago, following the Vanderpump Rules season 3 reunion.

“I was so proud of myself when I actually came to a point in my life where I felt confident enough, not just as a woman, but as a person, to be able to say that I’m going to walk away from a lot of financial security," she explained. "I’m going to walk away from fame. I’m going to walk away from opportunities to do other things, all because I don’t want to be in a situation that doesn’t make me happy.”

Vanderpump Rules is expected to premiere sometime later this year.
