Sharon Osbourne is taking a break from The Talk.

Sharon Osbourne Slams 'America's Got Talent'

According to a new report, Osbourne collapsed at her home in Los Angeles after returning to town from a busy trip to New York and Toronto. In turn, the host will be taking one month off from her role on the CBS daytime series.

"Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events," Osbourne's rep said in a statement to PEOPLE Magazine on Friday. "Sharon would like to thank everyone at The Talk for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."

The rep went on to explain the 62-year-old "collapsed from mental and physical fatigue," and had been told by doctors that she is suffering from "extreme exhaustion." The doctors reportedly believe Osbourne's exhaustion may have been the result of an early release from the hospital earlier this year.

In March, after being diagnosed with pneumonia after undergoing hernia surgery, Osbourne's daughter, Kelly, filled in for her on The Talk. No word on her possible replacement this time around.

As previously reported, Kelly hosted Fashion Police for several years before quitting in February.

"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities," E! announced at the time. "We would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers."
