In the finale of season 3 of Arrow, Oliver and Felicity were seen happily driving into the sunset having rescued their love from the all challenges and complications.

'Arrow Is Done,' Stephen Amell Dishes About Season 4 Of The CW Series

This left fans wondering if the couple would now be a happy one for the rest of the Arrow journey. Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity on the series, weighed in on the future of the duo. Speaking to TVGuide, the actress suggested that it won't be a fairytale romance going forward, and that both of them will not be able to easily shed their past as vigilantes.

"What I think is so interesting is that once you help people and have served justice for so long, is that it might become an addiction to a certain extent," she said. "It's one thing to go and be happy and sit on an island, but you want to still be doing important work. So I don't know what that's going to be for them. They're going to have a balance of that and hopefully in their relationship as well."

Rickards also went on to add that this will be a very interesting time in the romantic life of Fecliity and Oliver, as both of them will be truly getting to know each other, without the external disturbances and all the trouble that always surrounded them.

"When you start a relationship with someone, it takes time, quality time, to literally be 100 percent vulnerable. You can have your soul matched with someone and it might not work out," she said. "And now they're going to be spending all this time together without this job or commitment to exterior forces, and I think they're going to learn a lot more about each other."

The announcement of Arrow's renewal for a fourth season was made earlier this month.

The finale of season 3, entitled 'My Name is Oliver Queen,' of Arrow aired on May 13 on The CW.
