A new report says Kate Middleton's sister recently turned down a lucrative offer to star on a television show in the States, because she didn't want to leave her family and friends in the U.K.

According to Britain's Express paper on Friday, Pippa is not ready to leave her life in London just yet, especially since she's in a long distance relationship with her beau Nico Jackson in Switzerland.

A source told the site that Pippa was offered a $400,000 contract with the NBC network bad turned it away.

The insider explained, "A regular show with Pippa isn't going to happen... She didn't want to commit herself to a big job in the United States. She's got a boyfriend in Geneva and her family the United Kingdom. It was too much for her to pack up and leave them behind."

The source added, "It was Pippa's decision not to go ahead. It's not where she sees her future."

Meanwhile, there's a report that says Pippa, along with Prince Harry, might become Godparents for the new royal baby.

According to the Mirror earlier this month, there's a 4/1 chance that Pippa might be the royal baby's godmother while Prince William's brother Harry has a 6/1 chance of being a godparents.

And for those who are wondering, Elton John has a 80/1 odd of being a godfather while Victoria Beckham scores even lower with 500/1.
