Director Francis Lawrence recently revealed that the release of the first official trailer for Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 was still a while away.

What Did Josh Hutcherson Steal From The Set While Leaving?

At the recently held CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the director dished about the status of the movie's production in various interviews.

Speaking to IBT he revealed that most of the scenes were shot in "real" locations, and not simulated. By way of an excuse of a spoiler Lawrence stated that "Fans can finally see the conclusion of the series."

He went on to reiterate that Katniss would rise like the Phoenix and take over.

"This one finally closes the story out," he said. "This is where we see Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) reignite and she goes to the Capitol. She goes to war."

In an interview with Collider, he revealed that they were not quite done filming yet and that there was one more scene left to shoot. "There's one scene that we need to still shoot, we had a horrible winter in Atlanta and we didn't get a spring in time, we needed greenery and we didn't get greenery, so we're going to go back sometime in late May and shoot one last scene," he said. "But other than that we are really working on visual effects and sound and the music's being written. It's exciting."

A recent Venture Capital report revealed that Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 might give fans more on Katniss and Gale's (Liam Hemsworth) relationship. Sourcing an interview with Jennifer in which she gave some insight on her relationship with Gale in Mockingjay Part 2, the publication suggested that the friendship between the two will be taken to a whole new level.

"I loved that. Katniss and Gale have such a rich history, which we've never been able to fully, fully explore to the extent we do in this film," Jennifer said in a recent interview. "Up until now it always more about Katniss and Peeta. But there are so many complexities to Katniss and Gale and that relationship because before Katniss went into the Games, Gale was the only person who really understood her and knew her because they grew up together."

In other exciting news for fans, Variety recently reported that the movie will be the first in the franchise to be released in Imax 3-D. Although Part 1 did not screen in 3-D when it was released in other countries, its 3-D version hit theaters in China. Francis is excited about the news.

"I'm thrilled Mockingjay - Part 2 will be in Imax theaters," Francis told Variety. "Fans will now have the chance to see the film in any format they want, which is exciting; we recently saw the 3-D version of Mockingjay - Part 1 before its release in China, and the new level of immersion was really fantastic."

The first teaser for the movie, which is a movie poster with audio in the background, was released in March. It features the franchise's trademark phoenix-like winged bird going up in flames, with a bunch of characters' dialogue playign as voice-overs in the backdrop. Most exciting of these is the last one, in which Katniss is heard playing instigator. There is a whole lot noise and hoopla surrounding the final Hunger Games, with the authorities amping up the hype.

The teaser is already drawing comments from across the internet. Entertainment Weekly mostly treated the teaser as a moving poster of the bird, whereas Forbes pointed out that it reminds them of the teaser for The Dark Knight, stating that "of note is that in that trailer you had an anarchist villain threatening to upset the status quo, while this time the heroine of the story (Katniss Everdeen) is the one who threatens to challenge the would-be authorities." The teaser has also been simply labeled a "logo trailer" on YouTube.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 also stars Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy) and Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket).

The movie will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
