Joyce Giraud's family home was broken into as she enjoyed what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

While the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was away on vacation, her Los Angeles home was the target of a robbery, which she watched live as it happened.

"Joyce Giraud's home got hit by an alleged burglar -- and she watched the whole thing go down LIVE ... from her safe and relaxing vacation," TMZ reported on Sunday. "[A] male suspect scaled an exterior wall, broke into the house through a back window, and then opened the front gate to pull his car into the driveway."

"An employee who was home pushed the panic button, which triggered the alarm system and its surveillance app -- allowing Joyce to watch the entire incident unfold in real time on her phone," the site continued.

Police responded quickly to the alarm, and the man was caught and charged with burglary. Luckily for the Giraud family, nothing appeared to have been taken from the home.

Giraud joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show's fourth season, along with fellow new cast member Carlton Gebbia. However, after starring on the season for just one year, and feuding heavily with Brandi Glanville, Giraud's role was cut, as was the role of Gebbia.
