'The Fosters' Actress Says Jesus 'May Not Be Coming Back'

On Saturday, TV personality Rosie O'Donnell took to Instagram to snap a photo of a script to the ABC Family series as she lays outside in the sun. While this may have caused some theories, series creator Bradley Bredeweg tweeted that O'Donnell is going to come back as Callie's former group home counselor Rita.

O'Donnell's return ought to create some more big storylines coming up. There is already a wide number of drama taking place, including Callie and Brandon moving on from each other, Jude and Connor making their relationship official, Lena kissing another woman and the after-math of the terrible car accident.

In a live interview with Clevver News, Hayden Byerly (Jude) mentioned that the 'Jonnor' romance will "evolve" as they face more challenges ahead.

"It just kind of shows their relationship developing and continuing forward, and them making decisions on what they're going to do and how they're going to come out and tell the world or tell others around them who they are and that they're together," Byerly said.

David Lambert (Brandon) opened up on what's happening with his character as well as a couple new people coming aboard the series.

"Brandon's going to Idyllwild and he'll be doing some more music stuff," the actor said. "And there'll be two new characters coming in, which is always interesting."

The Fosters Season 3 premieres on Monday, June 8 on ABC Family.
