Captain America: Civil War has already bid adieu to Crossbones.

'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3: Brett Dalton On Playing The New Big Bad, Ward's Lost Moral Ambiguity

Frank Grillo's villain wrapped for Cap 3 late last week after completing several days of fight sequences in Atlanta, Ga.

"I'm out, Atlanta. I came I fought I conquered #CROSSBONES #Badass #CAP3 #Wrapped," Grillo tweeted on Thursday.

'Captain America: Civil War' PHOTO Places Jeremy Renner On Set, Will Hawkeye Fight Crossbones?

First introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Grillo's HYDRA/SHIELD ended the 2014 film in rough shape. When he renters the scene as a new and improved Crossbones, it seems Rumlow will be the "big threat" that precedes the impending Registration Act dilemma.

A plot summary for Civil War revealed that the Avengers will take on a major villain early in the film and recent set videos lends credence to the theory that Crossbones could be this threat. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Captain America (at the very least) will be on hand to fight Rumlow's new alter ego, a lineup that certainly points to an Avengers outing.
