He was certain he had finally convinced his father to remove Rick (Jacob Young) from the CEO position at Forrester and give it to him, but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) could be in for a big shock on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick Makes A Final Plea To Eric

He thought for sure that Eric (John McCook) had finally ousted Rick because of the morality clause in his contract, but he will be shocked when his father arrives back at the office and seems to hint that he is also not eligible for the position because of his own misdeeds of the past.

"You're not quite the Forrester you think you are," Eric says to his older son in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 26 episode.

Eric Makes A Shocking Decision

With his possibly choosing once again to stand behind Rick, Ridge will feel as if he is not being heard--and will make sure his father understands how the constant support of Rick is hurting him.

"Loyalty. Respect. That's what I want from you, but I'm not getting it," he says in the clip. "Your other son gets that."

As a result of his father's decision however, Ridge will feel more motivated than ever before to unseat his brother as CEO--and if he isn't someone who is considered worthy of being the head of Forrester, he will decide to enlist someone else to take over the job--his daughter, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

"You're about to take over Forrester Creations," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
