Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill Engaged: 'Amen' Rapper Breaks Silence On Rumors, T.I. Disagrees [VIDEO]

Rapper Meek Mill has broken his silence on speculation that wedding bells are ringing for him and girlfriend Nicki Minaj.

While the "Feelin' Myself" rapper has been spotted wearing a diamond on her left finger for the past month or so, Meek Mill set the record straight and said they aren’t quite ready to tie the knot just yet.

Meek spoke with The Fader magazine and confirmed the 15-carat diamond ring is “definitely real.” Still he added, “it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”

But fans weren’t the only ones who took Nicki’s ring as a sign of an upcoming wedding. Even rapper T.I. gave Meek his congrats making Meek clear the air and respond, “I ain’t engaged.”

T.I. wasn’t taking that as an acceptable answer. He told Meek, “You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend. You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you are engaged…I’ve said my part, as long as you know what’s going on.”

As for as Nicki’s side of it, she said a few months ago that she does hope to get married but is “afraid” that her career will either push back or halt that part of her dream. In fact, she said she feels part of her purpose in life is to be a mom.

“I definitely will be married before I have my baby. I want to make sure I do it in that order.”
