A book called Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame is slated to hit shelves on June 9. Gallery Books made the announcement Tuesday and said it will cover their “complicated dynamics.”

Author Ian Halperin penned the book that features statements from Houston’s close ones about her and Bobbi Kristina, who is her only child. R&B crooner Bobby Brown is Bobbi Kristina’s father.

It will also take a look at Houston’s rise and fall to fame as well as what happened with Bobbi Kristina just days before she was found unconscious in her bathtub in her Roswell, Ga. home on Jan. 31. Houston passed away on Feb. 11, 2012 after she was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel.

Fans might remember Halperin’s New York Times best-seller book Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson as well as Celine Dion: Behind the Fairytale, Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story and Hollywood Undercover.

As for now, Bobbi Kristina is no longer in a medically-induced coma (she sat unresponsive for nearly three months) but she is said to have irreversible brain damage and be in a vegetative state. Her father as well as Houston’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston, have been granted co-guardianship of the 22-year-old, who is now in a rehab treatment center.
