They've overcome a few different hurdles in their romance and seem to be better than ever, but the arrival of Liam's (Scott Clifton) ex in L.A. could once again complicate things for him and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ridge Enlists Some Surprising Help In Plan To Oust Rick

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is back in L.A. once more, at the request of her father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who is finally on board with the plan for a hostile takeover of Forrester Creations after his concern for how it would effect Eric (John McCook) went out the window. However, with her arrival and once again hopping into plans to take over the company comes her once again seeing Liam--and that will cause Ivy to start worrying once more.

"So much does it bother you that Steffy's involved?" Katie (Heather Tom) asks her in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 27 episode.

Liam Considers Reuniting With Steffy

Ivy may admit she has some fears, but for now at least, Liam seems to still be committed to her, because when he heads to Forrester to see her, he doesn't seem impressed to see her--and isn't as keen on the idea of joining up in the takeover plot again, considering what it almost did to his relationship the last time.

"What's in it for me?" he asks Steffy in the clip.

However, even if Liam remains confident in his relationship with Ivy and doesn't intend to stray, it doesn't mean Steffy won't continue trying to get to him.

"You were the great love of my life," she says in the clip. "and you always will be."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
