Although she wasn't clear on who she believed was spreading the alleged rumors, Barney hinted her Bravo co-stars could be to blame.

"Show hasn't even started and they are already spreading rumors about me. Bless their broken hearts. It kinda makes me laugh," Barney wrote in the caption of a photo message, which read, "Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots."

Yesterday, an In Touch Weekly report claimed Barney had created a fake story line surrounding a "new leaf," and claimed to have found religion, but, said the source, it was all for the cameras.

“She says she’s found religion, but her ‘new leaf’ story line is completely fake,” the source said, according to a report by Radar Online. “She thinks the audience is stupid and will believe whatever she says. It’s disgusting.”

During an interview with Real Mr. Housewife earlier this month, Barney insisted she had truly found religion, and promised fans would see a new her when the show debuts next month.

"I think they will see a softer side of me," Barney said. "I become a grandmother and take a spiritual journey in my life that I’m excited to share with everyone. Also, we have a death to a birth and everything in between. The season is very raw with real life issues."
