Walker will appear in an indeterminate amount of episodes during the Western drama's fourth season, according to a new report by TVLine. The actress has previously appeared in such TV shows as FX's Sons of Anarchy, NBC's Profiler and NBC's Taxi Brooklyn.

While there is no hint as to who Walker will be playing, some TVLine readers in the comments section are speculating that she could be playing Walt's (Robert Taylor) dead wife.

It is not known if Walker was on set of the drama thus far into production, but with several episodes of season 4 in the can, it's probable that her arc will occur late in the season.

Longmire was cancelled back in August last year after three seasons on A&E. The Western was the highest rated scripted show on the network, but its adults 18-49 viewership was not high enough.

The show's dedicated fanbase, known as the Longmire Posse, launched an epic Twitter campaign while the show's producers searched for a new home for Longmire. Many had suggested Netflix as a viable option and sure enough, the streaming site announced in November that they were picking the series up.

Netflix renewed the series for a 10-episode fourth season, which is currently in production in New Mexico.

Longmire season 4 is expected for release in the fall on Netflix, though the site has not yet announced a specific release date.
