Cynthia Bailey of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta is still defending her husband Peter Thomas and their financial woes after rumors swirl that she is his much younger sugar mama.

Speculation that Bailey was paying for the couple’s lifestyle began shortly after they joined the show. It was revealed that he was having money issues and she even loaned him tens of thousands of dollars to help get his businesses off the ground.

Still, Bailey insists that he is not chasing after her money.

“Peter can’t take anything from me because first of all…we’re married. My money is his money and his money is my money. So Peter can’t take nothing from me,” she told Straight From The A. “For those of you who don’t know, let me be clear…I wasn't born when I met Peter. I had a whole life in New York City where I’ve and nothing but success and money & things and other relationships and that was never an issue.”

She then questioned spectators as to why she would leave that life “just to give my money away?”

She pointed out that she is a mom and rumors that she is supporting Thomas “doesn’t even make sense.”

The couple seem to be back on their feet after Thomas opened up a sports bar in Charlotte, North Carolina. They were also looking at more space for a bar in Atlanta.
