Sawyer Fredericks is the Season 8 winner of The Voice and the teen dished how he cannot wait to get into the studio to record original music.

Fredericks not only has bragging rights of being crowned the winner ofThe Voice, but with the win came inking a record deal with Republic Records.

On Wednesday the 16-year-old tweeted his excitement about being signed to the label.

"Excited to continue working with Republic Records," Fredericks revealed.

On Monday, Republic Records shared an interview with the teen in which he revealed his game plan moving forward.

"After a nice break at home, I would like to get in the studio to start on new music," the Upstate New York resident said.

He's definitely enjoying his time home on the farm. On Tuesday he shared some photos of his one pooch from the farm of many animals. Fredericks was playing fetch with him!

"I have a lot of original songs that I'm excited to share," Fredericks added.

He also would like to play some live shows.

"And if there is time, I'd also like to be performing at different venues," he stated, adding, "I'm sure I will be learning a lot more about the industry and the music business very soon."

The 16-year-old Voice winner also has hopes to work with his coach from the show, Pharrell Williams, as well as some of his fellow contestants that were part of Season 8.

It sounds like this teen has a solid plan moving forward!

The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
