A Close Friend Claims Rob Kardashian Is 'Serious' About Rehab

Following a Gossip Extra report, which alleged the troubled Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had entered treatment in Palm Beach, Fla. earlier this week, momager Jenner spoke out, denying her son is currently in treatment.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Friday, Jenner said reports of Kardashian's rehab stay, which were revealed by a former bodyguard of the family, were "completely fabricated."

"I proposed to Rob to check himself into a beachfront center in this area,” Hollywood bodyguard Mark Behar, who had previously worked with Kim Kardashian, alleged to Gossip Extra last week. “He wants to cut himself off from California and the circus around his family. Rob is serious about it now. He doesn’t like what he’s become. He can stay (in the rehab center) until Christmas if he wants to.”

"As of now the part-time DJ, 28, is signed up for two months," a well-placed source revealed to the site. "Overweight and allegedly battling substance and alcohol abuse, the Dancing With The Stars 13th season standout is said to be trying to cut himself off from the world until he gets better."

Kardashian has reportedly been struggling with drug abuse, as well as depression, for the last couple of years, and his issues have been a hot topics on episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
