Answers are coming for Ethan, and they will arrive sooner than viewers might expect. By the end of episode 5, at least one member of the Burke clan will learn the frightening truth behind Idaho's most mysterious hamlet.

"You won't have to wait very long to find out the answer-in fact, you'll start to have a very good idea of what's going on within the next two episodes," Entertainment Weekly teased.

One thing viewers should know for sure, however, is that Ethan's little nightmare is no fever dream.

"Wayward Pines is a real place," showrunner Chad Hodge told TV Line. And, as it turns out, getting into a bloody car accident isn't the only way to get yourself unwillingly relocated. "Not everybody wakes up in the middle of the forest; there are different ways [to get there]."

For now, don't try to leave. Don't discuss the past. Don't discuss your life before. Always answer the phone.
