The set of Captain America: Civil War may get another visit form Crossbones.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: What's Next For Hunter & Bobbi? Nick Blood Explains

Born of 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Frank Grillo's new villain debuted on the Atlanta set earlier this month. After a brief bout of filming in mid-May, the actor left the set, leading viewers to believe that he had wrapped his part in the Russo brothers' film.

Grilo, however, took to twitter to inform viewers that this is not the case.

'Captain America: Civil War' New Casting Call, Who's Heading To Washington?

"To answer all those who think #CROSSBONES is done ....... Don't get caught w your guard down. #MayhemNeverDone #x," Grillo wrote on Wednesday.

The first glimpse of Crossbones came as Grillo shoot an intense multi-day fight sequence with Caps (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Early photos from set generally elicit fan complaints regarding costuming, but the reaction to Rumlow's new look has been overwhelmingly positive (see video below).

"It's funny because people really responded to it - it went viral, trended [like crazy], so I've been getting phone calls." Grillo told 93.3 WMMR (via Flickering Myth). "Crossbones is a violent, violent villain in this series, and I finally feel I've been understood now. I feel complete; [people] get me."
