The Fosters is about to discover a new face in the anticipated third season.

'The Fosters' Actor Dishes On 'Jonnor' Storyline

On Monday, The Hollywood Reporter announced that actor Chris Warren will appear on the ABC Family drama as new character Ty. He is described as a good-looking man who aged out of the foster system and became separated from his brother, AJ.

There is no word on what else might happen with this new character, but odds are likely he won't be showing up until later in the season.

Former 'Fosters' Character Is Returning To The Series

Some of Warren's credits include Love & Basketball, Men of Honor and the High School Musical series where he played Zeke.

Meanwhile, the actors from the heartfelt drama opened up on how things will begin in the season premiere. In a video from Clevver News, Cierra Ramirez (Mariana) mentioned what's about to take place following the car accident that involved herself, Jesus and their birth mother, Ana.

"The series premiere picks up where the huge cliffhanger was left off- three weeks after," Ramirez said. "So, it was a huge car accident and you'll see how the whole family is kind of infected by it."

As for the relationship between Jude and Connor, Hayden Byerly (Jude) revealed how the two boys will handle their romance now that they are officially together.

"It just kind of shows their relationship developing and continuing forward, and them making decisions on what they're going to do and how they're going to come out and tell the world or tell others around them who they are and that they're together," the actor said.

The Fosters Season 3 premieres on Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
