Mackenzie Douthit Reveals The Way To Her Heart Amid Divorce Reports

Earlier this week, after arriving to Los Angeles for what was previously rumored to be a stint on VH1's Couple's Therapy, Douthit created her first song. However, as she recently explained, she didn't actually sing on the track.

"Had a blast yesterday. Yes I got to record a song and I can't wait for you all to hear. Not a great singer at all so I chose do a little rappin," Douthit announced to fans on Instagram on Wednesday.

"The reasoning behind it is pretty special to me," she explained. "Check it out on iTunes and get educated just by listening to it about the disease millions of people suffer with daily including myself.. It will be on available on iTunes soon and 50% of the money goes towards diebetes research. #speakout."

After photos surfaced of Douthit in Los Angeles on Monday, many believed she was in town to star in Couple's Therapy, along with her husband of nearly two years, Josh McKee. However, after the season 6 cast of the series was announced, without her name on it, all rumors were put to rest.

After tying the knot in 2013, Douthit and McKee hit a rocky point in their marriage earlier this year, and McKee briefly left home. However, as Douthit recently revealed to Wetpaint Entertainment, she and her husband have since settled their differences, and remain dedicated to their marriage.
