Shawn Hunter's (Rider Strong) life has never gone quite to plan, but the Boy Meets World alum will get a second chance with his high school sweetheart during Girl Meets World's "Girl Meets Hurricane." Unfortunately, it sounds like the Shawn/Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) relationship will end just as badly in 2015 as it did at the start of the new millennium.
"You're going to kill me for what I do to Shawn & Angela," showrunner Michael Jacobs said at the ATX Television Festival on Friday, according to Talk Nerdy With Us. "You'll have to watch the ep 6 times before you put gun down."

Angela and Shawn's romance sprang to life in the fifth season of Boy Meets World but came to an abrupt end in season 7's "Angela's Ashes." McGee-Davis' character choose to head to Europe for a year while Shawn stayed stateside, and that was the last viewers saw of the John Adam's High grad. Now that the tale of Cory Matthews' (Ben Savage) coming of age has spawned a next generation spin-off, however, it is high time Angela made her way back into Shawn's life, if only for a brief visit.
While their reunion may end in tears, Jacobs promises that the series will stay true to Shawn and Angela's previous dynamic.
"In three weeks it's going to be on the air ... and there is going to be full-scale audience rebellion," Jacobs told the International Business Times at ATX. "We had to make a choice - Are we writing this real like we always did?"
