Eddie Murphy stepped out with a head-turning new girlfriend at Spike TV's tribute to the funnyman in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The tribute, "Eddie Murphy: One Night Only" was devoted to the life of the former "Saturday Night Live star."

While the 51-year-old delivered a brief touching speech where he shocked attendees by announcing he's "retired," the crowd couldn't help but gawk at the actor's Australian model girlfriend Paige Butcher.

"I'm just a retired old song and dance man," Murphy told the crowd as Butcher looked on. "That's what you do when you're retired: You come out every now and then and talk about the old days."

The ceremony honoring the legendary comedian also included touching funny notes from his "Coming To America" co-star and best friend Arsenio Hall, Stevie Wonder, Tracy Morgan, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Russell Brand.

The tribute will air on Spike TV on Nov.14.

Murphy and Butcher had been seen dining out together in Los Angeles since September.

Butcher reportedly started her modeling at the age of 13. Two years after her debut, Butcher won a CoverGirl model search. She has appeared on two Maxim magazine covers and has also had small roles in two films, "Something's Gotta Give" and "Big Momma's House 2."

Murphy recently sold his East Coast home to Grammy winning singer Alicia Keys and her music producer husband Swizz Beatz. The former home in Englewood, New Jersey, was sold for $12 million, according to a report from Mediatakeout. The mansion was sold for much less than its original sale price of $30 million. The "Bubble Hill" is 25,000 square feet and situated on 3.9 acres.
