The CW drama left Team Free Will in a rather precarious position as the summer hiatus kicked off, and the series' creative minds quickly got to work hashing out the fallout from "My Brother's Keeper."

"I have the stories for the first 8 episodes of season 11 already -- Love our writing staff at #Supernatural for being SO professional! THX!" co-executive producer Jim Michaels announced on Saturday.

Now that the mysterious Darkness is looming on the horizon, it is unknown what fresh paranormal dangers the Winchesters will have to face in season 11. There is one storyline viewers can count out, however. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will not attempt to spring anyone from Lucifer's cage in the near future.

"Adam is not currently our story radar and don't see it anytime soon if ever," Michaels said, seemingly sealing Adam's (Jake Abel) eternally hellish fate, at least for the moment.
