Tony Dovolani wants to join the judging panel on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Is Val Chmerkovskiy Leaving 'Dancing With the Stars' After Winning?

Dovolani recently spoke with E! News about his desire to go from dancing on the show professionally to judging others who do so.

"I would love to judge," he said this week. "If that's the call they make, I would accept it graciously and happily."

Dovolani thinks that he could "bring something to the table," considering the fact that he's "been on the show for 19 seasons." He is actually the longest running pro in DWTS history, having joined the show in season 2 and competed as a pro ever since.

"I've been partnered with so many different celebrities," he explained. "I have a lot of knowledge of what they go through. I'd judge fairly."

Over the years, Dovolani has made the finals three times, coming in third with Stacy Keibler in season 2 and Melissa Rycroft in season 8 and winning once with Rycroft in season 15, the All Star season.

If Dovolani were to join the judging panel he would be following in the footsteps of Julianne Hough, who previously danced on the show before she became a judge in season 19.

He took a jab at Hough in his explanation for why he should be a judge: "Also, I don't have any siblings out there so therefore I'd be a lot more fair than anybody else." Dovolani was of course referring to Hough's brother Derek Hough.

Whatever the Dancing With the Stars producers decide, Dovolani will be happy to have any involvement with the show.

This summer Dovolani intends to "spend as much time with the family as possible" before returning to the show in the fall.

"I'm looking forward to seeing who they're partnering me up with," he said.

Dancing With the Stars returns for a whole new season in the fall on ABC. As always, new episodes will airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
