There is exciting news for fans who still rush home to watch reruns of "Boy Meets World."

According to the CNN Wire, TVLine reported that the Disney Channel is considering a sequel series which will be called, "Girl Meets World." It will focus on the adolescent daughter of Ben Savage's Cory Mathews and Danielle Fishel's Topanga Lawrence.

The Wire also reported that Disney is trying to get Mathews and Fishel to return as their usual characters, portraying Cory and Topanga. Fishel gave a little hint via Twitter on Nov. 3, stating, "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided ... Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!!"

Waiting for Disney to decide the fate of the sequel series, here's an update on the original cast of "Boy Meets World."

Ben Savage, who played Cory Mathews, went on to graduate from college after the show's series finale. He earned a degree in political science from Stanford in 2004. He is now 32-years-old and was featured in movies like 2007's "Palo Alto, CA." He also made appearances on the shows "Without a Trace," "Bones," "Chuck" and "Shake It Up!"

Danielle Fishel, known as Topanga Lawrence in the series, has recently moved away from acting. She has served as special correspondent on the "Tyra Banks Show," "The Dish" and now appears on MSN TV's "Last Night on TV."

William Daniels, who was known as George Feeny in the show and played Cory's teacher, landed roles on "Touched by an Angel," "The Closer" and "The King of Queens." Now 85-years-old, Daniels also appeared on the ninth season of "Grey's Anatomy" as Dr. Craig Thomas.

Rider Strong, who played Cory's best friend Shawn Hunter, continued with his acting career in shows like "Kim Possible" and "Pepper Dennis," and movies such as 2002's Cabin Fever." He graduated from Columbia with an English degree.

Betsy Randle, who was in the show as Amy Mathews, Cory's mom, was last spotted on the series "Charmed" in 2004. She's now married with two children and has kept a low profile ever since.

Will Friedle, who played Eric Mathews, Cory's brother, is now 36 and has done voice work on "Batman Beyond," "Kim Possible," "The Penguins of Madagascar" and "Thundercats" as Lion-O.
