NCIS: Los Angeles is cooking up another series of reveals for one G Callen.

'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Premiere Date Announced, Find Out What's Next For Callen & Co

The CBS drama jumped back into Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) storyline at the end of season 6, having left it untouched since the show's 100th episode in 2013. As the Office of Special Projects prepares for another year of battling terrorists, Renee Smith (Nell) and Barrett Foa (Eric) believe more Callen tidbits are in the near future.

"We ended [season 6] on Callen's father...or is it Callen's father?" Foa teased at MCM London Comic Con, according to Red Carpet News TV. "There are some cool things I think are going to be revealed about our main guy who really has been searching for some answers to his family."

It's not just viewers who are dying to know the whole story behind the show's most stoic character. The actors are looking for answers as well.

"I've always, obviously, been very interested to know," Smith admitted. "That's the question of the series - who is G Callen? Where does he come from?"

After breaking from Callen's arc in order to flesh out Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), Kensi (Daniela Ruah), and Sam (LL Cool J), it looks like NCIS: LA will have G's storyline securely in its sights this fall.

NCIS: LA returns to CBS on Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. ET. Click the video below to see a preview for the season 6 finale.
