Big Brother host Julie Chen is very excited to be returning for season 17 this summer.
Chen has been documenting her anticipation of Big Brother 17 over the past month, posting various videos and photos about the long-running reality series. Over the past two days, however, she has been tweeting photos of the script of the first episode of the season.

Both tweets were favorited and retweeted by hundreds of accounts, with fan anticipation at an all-time high.
Chen has many lines she has to read as host of Big Brother especially in the premiere week.
Otherwise, Chen has also been posting videos of her favorite moments from past seasons of Big Brother. Among them she has listed Dan Gheesling's "funeral" from Big Brother 14, Marcellas Reynolds not using the Power of Veto on himself in Big Brother 3 and the Team America twist from Big Brother 16.
In other Big Brother news, a new promo has been released teasing the show's return this summer. Many fans are buzzing due to the fact that it explicitly says "New houseguests" in the promo. There has been some speculation, as with every pre-season of Big Brother, that there would be returning players though this should put an end to those rumors.
However, it doesn't actually say that it's all new players, so it's still possible that there could be a few former players in the mix again this year.
Big Brother 17 begins on Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
