It appears that Tiger Woods may have hit a permanent low in his career.

How Are Tiger Woods & Lindsey Vonn Doing Amid Break-Up?

On Sunday, Sky Sports announced that pro golfer Greg Norman doesn't seem to have much confidence in Woods that he'll be able to get back to his golfing skills following the worst play of his career. He scored an 85 at Muirfield Village, which became his worst round ever. And according to Norman, it's going to take some serious skill for Woods to get back to his abilities.

"It's a massive effort, mentally and physically, for him to get himself out of this hole he's in," Norman said. "The more he shoots 85, or extraordinary high numbers, the harder it is for him to get out of that hole."

Does Tiger Woods Believe In 'Clean Breaks?'

The golfer then explained how things can change over the years and what must be done to stay in the game.

"[Tiger's] gone through major swing changes in the past. But for those swing changes, his body was a lot younger," Norman explained. "When you do make a change, you have to hit a lot of golf balls. You have to get the old swing thoughts out of your mind and the new swing thoughts in."

Whatever happens from here, it seems that Woods is just going to have to do his best to get to where he used to be.

"Your body doesn't recover quickly, or as well, like it used to when you were in your 20s and 30s," Norman said. "He's got that mountain to climb."
