5 Seconds of Summer had a really big weekend that mostly went over really well!

Which One Direction Member Showed Up To 5 Seconds of Summer's First Wembley Gig?

On Friday the Australian band kicked off their first of three nights at The SSE Arena, Wembley.

It couldn't have gone any better, but unfortunately a bit of a disaster struck during Saturday's gig when guitarist Michael Clifford was literally set on fire due to a pyrotechnics mishap on stage.

A fan managed to capture the scary situation via Twitter video, which can be seen below.

The gig Saturday night was therefore a little premature, but Clifford is a trooper. He was bandaged up immediately after being looked at and cared for off stage, which he shared with fans via Instagram.

His bandmate, bassist Calum Hood, also seems to have skimmed the pyrotechnics, which was also captured by fans at the gig.

The following day Clifford revealed he was "feeling loads better" and that he was "excited" for the final Wembley show.

Since his pyrotechnics accident on stage he has received an outpouring of love from fans and fellow music industry friends on social media.

One Direction's Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were among those in the industry who wished him well.

On Sunday a 5SOS spokesperson told Billboard, "There will be no pyrotechnic production for the show this evening."

Despite the incident that really worried Clifford's mom Karen as seen through screen grabs of her comments on social media below courtesy of fans sharing them, the final show went over well.

Clifford said Wembley was "amazing" and he proceeded to thank everyone involved with this leg of his band's tour from fans to members of the tour crew.

Hood also shared his thanks on Twitter.

Drummer Ashton Irwin called the three Wembley gigs "a dream come true."

Luke Hemmings also chimed in on Twitter about this leg of the tour ending, sharing it was "an incredible unforgettable experience."

We're glad despite the pyrotechnics snafu on Saturday, the band was able to finish the European leg of their Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour on a high note. We're also happy to hear Clifford is healing and Hood appears fine too.

The band will begin their New Zealand/Australia run of the tour on Thursday, June 18.
