Lamar Odom's close friend, Jamie Sangouthai, has died.

According to reports, Sangouthai, who appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2009 and made regular appearances on the spinoff series, Khloe & Lamar, passed away on Sunday from a reported overdose.

"Lamar Odom's best friend, Jamie Sangouthai -- the man Khloe and others claimed fueled Lamar's disastrous crack binge 2 years ago -- has died, and we're told authorities believe it was a heroin OD," TMZ reported on Sunday evening. "Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Jamie died Sunday in a hospital in downtown L.A. He was taken to the hospital after someone called 911."

Sangouthai grew up in New York, where he met and struck up a friendship with Odom years ago. He was 37 at the time of his death.

Following the news of her ex-husband's best friend's death, Kardashian took to Twitter, where she shared her thoughts with fans.

Kardashian's longtime friend Malika Haqq also weighed in on Sangouthai's passing, telling fans on Instagram, "Thru good and bad times life shows us every spirit matters and leaves a print on the hearts of others after they have passed... RIP Jamie Sangouthai #GodHelpUsAll."

In addition to appearing on the Kardashian's reality shows, Sangouthai served as one of Odom's best men in his wedding to Kardashian, and appeared alongside Odom in a video in which he reportedly admitted to cheating on Kardashian during their four-year marriage.
