Miley Cyrus is doing incredible things lately as she rallies to gain equality for transgender people with her Happy Hippie Foundation.

On Monday the singer took to Instagram to launch "#InstaPride," which is "in partnership with @instagram, to share stories of transgender and gender expansive people from around the country."

Cyrus shared this will be a two-week long experience of meeting these people as well as "the people in their lives who support them." Miley Cyrus Protests Nipple Censorship Once Again! The first person involved in this project is Leo Sheng, who is a 19-year-old from Michigan.

Cyrus quoted the teen in her caption of him discussing his own identity. He said, "I have a lot of different identities. I'm a writer, a filmmaker in the works, a sometimes photographer, a good public-speaker, a social media junkie, a Gleek, a feminist, an activist, a movie buff, a dutiful Netflix fan."

The Michigan resident then declared, "As for my gender, I identify as a trans man."

Cyrus partook in a photo shoot with Sheng and probably the other subjects involved in this project.

She showed off their "matching tats" of anchors.

This special project is surely going to enlighten many who aren't totally aware of understanding trans and gender-fluid people.

Sheng is hoping to "inspire" with his story and portraits in this "#InstaPride" project.
