The first look at the all-female Transformers Combiner team has finally been revealed and if this will assuredly be a awesome bunch.

A Bumblebee Spin-off Is In The Works?

USA Today unveiled the portrait of one of the characters from the team. The female character Victorion looks fierce and indomitable. The team will star in the upcoming Transformers: Combiner Hunters comic book. The writer of the series Mairghread Scott spoke about the characters and her vision for Victorion.

"I don't like to give my characters a lot of breathing room, so Victorion comes into existence about a half-second before a sword flies at her head," she said. "Naturally, her first concern when it comes to other Transformers is not being killed by them. But IDW Transformers has always been interested in how people navigate a world of shifting alliances, imperfect heroes, and charismatic villains."

Will Megan Fox Join The Age of Extinction Sequel?

In fact Victorion will be on a quest to find more about the history of the Transformers on Cybertron. Hasbro's Trensformers design manager, John Warden also spoke to USA Today about the origins of these new characters. "They've been forced to adapt to their surroundings and have learned how to live without much. This makes them extremely resourceful," he said.

In the latest Transformers movie, Age of Extinction, even Optimus Prime took off to Cybertron at the end to find out about his makers. Transformers editor John Barber explained how Victorion's experiences will be different from Optimus Prime's.

"Optimus is dealing with finding his place in a Cybertronian society that's changing, and Victorion will have life experiences and a world view that's different from Optimus'," Barber said.

This story will be followed through in Transformers 50, he dished, in which "Victorion will be front and center during one of the biggest things we've ever done in Transformers comics."

Transformers: Age of Extinction hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
