Hope Solo married former NFL tightend Jerramy Stevens on Tuesday, according to media reports, just a day after Stevens was arrested for assaulting Solo.

Solo, 31 and Stevens, 33 married Tuesday evening in a small ceremony in Snohomish, Washington, according to Seattle's KING5.com.

Only close family and friends attended the wedding, according to the site.

Dave Mahler from 102.9 FM's "Dave Softly Mahler Show" also reported on the wedding.

"Confirmed: Jerramy Stevens and Hope Solo were married tonight. Events of yesterday morning didn't change plans. Sounds like more facs comin," Mahler tweeted on Tuesday. The marriage was also reported by ESPN and Sportsradio 950 AM.

Stevens was arrested on Monday for fourth-degree domestic violence assault over Solo at her Seattle home. He was not charged and was later released from police custody because there was insufficient evidence pending an investigation.

The two athletes were reportedly arguing over whether they would live in Florida or Washington State after the marriage, according to King County records.

Police responded to a call around 3:45 a.m. Monday involving a fight between eight people during a party, Kirkland Police Lt. Mike Murray told KING-TV.

Stevens was arrested for assault and although Lt. Murray didn't identify the victim, court documents showed it was Solo who received a cut to her elbow, ESPN reports.

Stevens and Solo have been dating for two months. They applied for a marriage license Nov. 8, according to ESPN.
