Dustin Johnson is not going to let his rough tournament at the U.S. Open get under his skin.

Dustin Johnson's Son Supports Him On Instagram

On Monday, USA Today posted an interview with the golfer who had three bogies in his first four holes and then fell one stroke short of forcing a playoff with breakthrough golf athlete Jordan Spieth. Luckily, Johnson had his fiancee and five-month-old son, Tatum, there with him, and at the end of the day, they are the only people in his life who truly matter.

"At the end of the day, it's just golf," Johnson said. "I've got my family and that's most important to me. My trophy at the end of the day is holding up my little man. I couldn't be more proud of myself and my family. No matter what I'm going to keep my head high and be happy."

Despite the rough game, the golfer is still happy with the hard work he's putting in.

"I'm disappointed that I three-putted the last hole. Other than that I had a damn good week," he said. "I'm happy with the way I played. I'm happy with everything in my game right now. I had a chance to win again a major on Sunday. I thought I handled myself very well. I hit the shots when I needed to. So I know what it takes to get it done, it's real simple."

Johnson is engaged to Instagram celebrity Paulina Gretzky.
