Rookie Blue’s sixth season has officially premiered on ABC and now spoiler alerts are a plenty and expose what fans can expect from the rest of the season.

‘Rookie Blue’ Officers ‘Haven’t Seen The End’ Of Explosion Drama, Deals ‘With Their Own People’

The main plot for last night was Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Marlo being pregnant with his child despite his relationship with Andy. While he and Andy weren’t together when the child was conceived, it definitely brings up lots of drama as the couple tries to work through it together this season.

Actress Missy Peregrym, who plays Andy, revealed to TVLine Wednesday that the baby news even sparks up marriage talk for her and Sam.

Future Of ‘Rookie Blue’ ‘Still Up In The Air’

“Yeah, the topic comes up, for sure. We’re in a serious relationship, and we’ve finally go a groove going. We’ve had to work so hard to build our relationship, and we tried everything else except really, really being together.”

Andy & Sam fans will be ecstatic to know that the news doesn’t stop the couple from being together. Still, if the two do get married (or even keep going strong for awhile) Andy will have to have some type of interaction with the child. Peregrym reveals this could get a little awkward for her.

“She couldn’t wait to have kids with Sam and that’s something she always wanted. Then to have this experience [of] it’s not your kid, but also, potentially [having] a role in that kid’s life, that’s also incredibly tricky.”

However it looks like Andy will try to stay positive in the situation.

“Andy does everything a hundred percent; if she’s in, she’s in.”

Rookie Blue airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
