Fans are still going to have to wait until October for new episodes of The Walking Dead, but one of the series' stars is assuring fans that not only will the entire new season be worth the wait, but the first episode will be one of the most memorable they've produced.

Norman Reedus & Emily Kinney Are Dating!

In a behind-the-scenes video from the first day back on set, Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) gave fans a small sneak peek into the action as everyone got back to work--and assured them that they wouldn't be disappointed when the show got going again.

"Season 6 is going to be phenomenal," he says in the video. "The first episode is going to blow your mind."

Will Morgan Be Against Rick And Co.?

Cudlitz also checked in with some of his fellow castmates in the video, asking them how excited they were to be back in Georgia and getting back to work on the show's upcoming sixth season.

"We ended on a really compelling note, so I'm excited to get going," Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) said.

Cudlitz also talked to Lennie James, who is returning as Morgan in the new season, and asked him about how it felt to be back in with the cast once again.

"It's a little surreal, I'm not going to lie to you," he said. "It's a little like I've been here forever and I've never been here."

However, the rest of the cast all just expressed happiness to be back with their friends and working together once more.

"It's funny, as soon as you've said hello to every face, it's like you were just here," Lauren Cohan (Maggie) said. "As soon as you've sweated and had three cups of coffee you're like okay we're back."

And Danai Gurira (Michonne) had a great return on camera--when Norman Reedus (Daryl) planted a big kiss on her to say hello.

"Are you excited to be back Norman?" Cudlitz shouts as Reedus walks away from a still stunned Gurira.

"Now I am!" Reedus shouts back.
