Supercharged, the new Fast and Furious themed ride at Universal Studios, was launched on June 23 and Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham and Michelle Rodriguez were present at the event.

Entertainment Weekly reported from the event. While inaugarating the ride, Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the movies, gave a shout out to Paul Walker, dedicating the park to him. "This one's for you Pablo," he said.

"I know when we were making it, it felt like we were creating something that I had never experienced. We employed all kinds of incredible technology," said Diesel. "I'm really excited to get in there and feel it out and get that adrenaline pumping."

The Wire's Idris Elba To Join Fast and Furious 8?  

Diesel has filmed and done stunts for the ride along with other cast member like Rodriguez, Gibson and Dwayne Johnson. While talking about the experience he hoped that the adrenaline rush would be translated to fans who go on the ride.

Recently even Gibson talked about the ride in an interview with Fox 40. The actor said the whole deal was "very exciting" for them, and he was also bringing his daughter for her eighth birthday to the park in two weeks. Gibson admitted that he was a kid at heart and that a ride like this was definitely up his alley, even at this age. "Honestly, it's a grown kids experience, as a grown man I am still a kid, and as a grown man I am happy to be a part of a theme park ride that's been so successful around the world because of the fans," he said.

Fast and Furious 8 will be released on April 15, 2017.

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
