Casting rumors continue to swirl for Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta after Claudia Jordan was reportedly axed from the hit series; now the latest is that a famous actress will be a part of the show.

From reports that Porsha Williams and/or Sheree Whitfield could get their peaches once again, to rumors that former Married To Medicine star Mariah Huq is heading over to the series, speculation has been rampant as to who fans will see grace the screen in the upcoming season.

In the newest round of rumors, none other than actress Kim Fields is reportedly joining the show. Fans might remember Fields from her infamous roles in Facts Of Life and more recently Living Single. If Fields is anything like the characters she plays on television, there won't be a dull moment with her on the series.

Perez Hilton reported the news Friday morning, but it still has yet to be confirmed by Bravo executives such as Andy Cohen.

Stars who are said to be returning for sure are of course NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks.

Parks is the only one who has given any type of confirmation for her return.

Her representative said earlier this week, “Phaedra is definitely returning to the show and any reports to the contrary are nonsense.”

While Bravo has been said to want to beef up drama and trim off any unnecessary boring story lines, Parks’ was anything but last season. Her husband Apollo Nida was going through legal troubles as he went off to federal prison (he pleaded guilty for several serious fraud charges). So Parks had to deal with that as well as accusations from him that she was cheating and getting used to the idea of being a single mother to their young boys for eight years.
