'The Voice' Season 8 Winner Is Out In Los Angeles Working On His Album!

Since returning to the East Coast, Sawyer Fredericks, got to kick back and relax for a bit, but that is over now seeing as he flew to Los Angeles on Sunday to begin production on his debut album with Republic Records as part of his prize from winning The Voice.

The teen has been teasing some tweets about how it's going so far and Friday seemed to be an excellent day and night in the studio.

Frederick seems to be surrounded by a great team since he said they're all "feeling so relaxed" and "the songs are just flowing."

Songwriter Shari Short is onboard Fredericks' team as well as producer and songwriter Mikal Blue and songwriter Johan Lindbrandt. It seems like regardless of getting some serious work done this group of musicians had some fun too! Fredericks shared the photo below of his "very enthusiastic team." Perhaps his upcoming single was being worked on here.

Short revealed an Instagram photo from their studio session on Thursday, in which she regards this group as "some of my fav people! And new fav people!"

Lindbrandt also shared a picture, but it was from Friday's session. It's of Fredericks playing his acoustic guitar and singing while relaxing on a couch in the studio.

New music from Fredericks is so much closer as he continues to work on his album in Los Angeles with this great group of people.

The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
