Gillian Horvath, the co-executive producer for Beauty and the Beast, revealed an exciting bit of information about the writers who worked on the upcoming episode of the CW series.

Jay Ryan Teases 'Twist' In Upcoming Episode Of Beauty and the Beast  

Horvath informed via Twitter, that the writers of episode 4 of season 3 are Jeff Reno and Ron Osborn, whose writing credits include the West Wing:

The synopsis of the episode, titled 'Matter of the Heart,' reveals that Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) "dives into her work and suspects a wealthy transplant recipient of being involved with the mysterious experiments on innocent people in the city."

One Of The Main Characters To Die In Season 3?    

In the preview for the episode, we see Catherine struggle with the case while Vincent (Jay Ryan) is vehemently trying to push it away. He seems to counter her obsession with it. The two are also seen arguing about how they see things differently when it comes to the case. But it won't all be intense and serious, as the clip hints at some comic relief.

The couple will be visiting a marriage counselor, played by Saul Rubinek, and in the clip when they are asked how they met, the couple doesn't know where to start.

Here's the synopsis:

"Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) take their relationship to a couples counselor (Saul Rubinek) when Cat dives into her work and suspects a wealthy transplant recipient of being involved with the mysterious experiments on innocent people in the city."

The episode will air on July 2 on The CW.
