Ariana Grande Lashes About Big Sean Split ‘I’m Not [His] Ex’

“I don’t plan relationships, they just happen. That’s all it is. I’m just living it. It’s no guide. It’s no script you know? We’re just out here doing what we do and feeling it out. It’s no mistakes in life, only lessons.”

Before Grande, Big Sean was actually engaged to Glee actress Naya Rivera. They called off their wedding in January of last year. He and Grande then sparked up their relationship in the following summer, just months after Rivera married actor Ryan Dorsey on what was reportedly supposed to be her and Big Sean’s wedding date. It’s not clear why Grande and Big Sean called it quits, but their representatives said their schedules were just too demanding for them to stay together. Their split was much more amicable and peaceful than his breakup with Rivera, especially since she called him out on Twitter for stealing a piece of jewelry from her home.

Good news for fans is he might channel of his experience into new music.

“All those things just make for good songs I feel like, too.”

In the meantime, Big Sean is single, but he always manages to bounce back.
