Their romance is going well only because he has no idea his girlfriend knows his true identity, but Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) could start causing problems for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Jake (Billy Miller) out of spite on General Hospital.

Nikolas Causes Trouble at ELQ

Nikolas told Elizabeth the truth that Jake was really a resurrected Jason Morgan at the Nurses' Ball, and since then, Elizabeth has been keeping the truth a secret from him so she can have the relationship with him she never really got to in the past. As a result, she has been allied with Nikolas in his attempt to take over ELQ--which recently proved to be successful despite 'Jake's' best effort to keep it from happening for Michael's sake.

Now, even though he has no intention of revealing the truth about his identity to Jake, Nikolas will potentially stir up some drama in the couple's romance as a way of reminding Jake--now one of his employees--of his place.

"Am I interrupting anything?" he asks in a preview clip for the Tuesday, June 30 episode.

Jake will likely not respond well to Nikolas trying to join in on he and Elizabeth's meal, and may say so--prompting Nikolas to make confusing and underhanded taunts about knowing the truth--which could frighten Elizabeth as she desperately holds on to her dishonest relationship.

Nikolas certainly won't go through with spilling the beans to Jake however because doing so would immediately invalidate him as the CEO of ELQ, because Jason is the rightful heir to the company. If he ever realizes his true identity, he can have Nikolas stripped of his newly acquired powers and officially destroy the months of hard work he has put in.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
