Holly Madison Claims Hugh Hefner Attempted To Buy Her For $3 Million

In a new interview, the reality star turned Vegas performer responded to Hefner's claims of her having re-written history in an effort to remain in the spotlight.

“I won’t let myself be afraid of him,” Madison told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by Radar Online on Tuesday. “I spent too many years like that. [Hef] has no mental or emotional power over me anymore. I walked away from that seven years ago [when I left the mansion]. He is completely out of my life now.”

Hugh Hefner Calls Holly Madison A 'Gold Digger' On Twitter

Following the release of Down The Rabbit Hole earlier this month, Hefner released the following statement to Us Weekly:

"Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight."

Still, Madison insists she was nothing but honest in her memoir.

“If I wanted to write a cheap tell-all for revenge, I would have done that a long time ago," she explained. "I had to pretend everything was OK back then, and it wasn’t. I wrote this book in hopes that people would learn from my mistakes.”
