In the preview for the premiere of season 3 of Ray Donovan, Ray (Liev Schreiber) is back in business as he gets cracking on a case for a new client.

Hank Azaria's Ed Returning For Season 3?  

Andrew Finney (Ian McShane) is introduced in the clip, and is seen seeking Ray's services to help rescue his abducted son. We also get a quick glimpse at Katie Holmes, who plays Andrew's daughter Paige, but it is a rather inconsequential appearance.

As per the usual, Ray is seen going about his business with a good dose of violence. Another highlight of the preview is Ray's wife, Abby (Paul Malcomson) seen distraught in bed, calling him on the phone asking him to come back home. Cut to a bit showing Ray sitting in a bar eyeing a young woman, they are seen having sex in his hotel room the next instant. Seems like the first episode will set the tone for Ray and Abby's relationship, and they won't be finding any kind of resolution soon.

Will Ray Have An Affair With Katie Holmes' Character In Season 3?

Previously, first look stills for the episode had been revealed by Entertainment Focus. The stills featured a whole lot of Mickey (Jon Voight) hanging by the pool at some suburban motel like place. In the other stills Ray meets his new client Andrew Finney, and the main draw of the season, Paige is also introduces. Ray's daughter Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) and wife Abby are also seen in the pics.

The episode, titled 'The Kalamazoo' will air on July 12 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
